A collection of Scarves and Shawls bridging the gap between ART and FASHION.
WHERE ART MEETS FASHION
The brainchild of two friends, Priya Shah( the 'dream alchemist) and Charanjeet Singh ( the 'chief fabricologist), MIA KORA is a collection of scarves and shawls that is centered around the concept of WEARABLE ART.
Originally inspired solely by Priya's artwork, we now have a growing portfolio of talented Artists whose diverse work keeps our collections unique, creating on-trend collections every season.
PAINTING A NEW TREND
Being able to pick up a piece of Art and wear it has been the focal point of our concept. It has been our passion to be able to turn scarves into something more than an accessory. Its your wardrobes comfort piece, it should tell a story, it should inspire you.
MIA KORA salutes artists whose talents reach out much further than the frame they are put in.
MIA KORA CONSERVATION
Charanjeet and Priya have both been born and brought up in Kenya where the wildlife, flora and fauna has become a part of their being. It comes naturally to become protective of our ecosystem which is why Mia Kora has introduced a charity collection where between 40% - 100% of the profits go towards selected organisations. Currently we are working with the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (UK) as well as R.E.S.C.U.E which has become one of our favourite wildlife conservation projects. It is based in the Mathews Range, Samburu - Kenya. For more details on this venture please feel free to get in touch with us.
